Embedding Security into Every Step

EyeCatcher created an animated video to teach Comcast employees about the Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL), integrating security throughout product development. Using a skyscraper analogy, the video illustrated complex security concepts with real-world examples, guiding teams through 12 critical SDL practices for building and maintaining secure systems.

Project Highlights

Engaging Visuals

The explanation of the entire security protocol was based around a metaphor – building security is like building a skyscraper.

Interactive Learning

This course employed several interactive tactics: gamification, sorting exercises, basic knowledge checks, and more.

Outcome-Based

The course fostered behavioral change – building security into development and knowing where to go for help.

Security as a Continual Practice

EyeCatcher’s video made the SDL process approachable, helping Comcast’s teams understand and apply secure development practices from start to finish.
